Humans and animals have been using medicinal plants for all time, to heal and give the body the essential substances it needs to heal itself in illness and to maintain health. Western Medical Herbalists are trained in a modern orthodox medical way.
We have knowledge about the plants we use because of traditional records but we also benefit from modern science, which now confirms much of what our ancestors have taught us.

Seasonal Songs / Private Tuition with Heather Ash.
After classical singing training, Heather went on to work with Frankie Armstrong, founder of the Natural Voice movement. Having run many community choirs, she has an absolute belief that everyone can sing.
The aim of her sessions is always to meet others and have fun! She launched the Carlingcott Carollers in Autumn 2004 to sing the village's very own carol in a packed performance in Carlingcott Chapel at Christmas. The group continues with seasonal songs from Somerset and around the world. She also gives private singing lessons.
